Deliverable D2.2 provides a comprehensive mid-term overview of the engagement activities carried out with citizens and organisations across eight European countries as part of the Move2CCAM project. These activities form the foundation for co-creating CCAM (Cooperative, Connected, and Automated Mobility) solutions that are inclusive, context-specific, and aligned with stakeholder needs.
Key highlights:
• Over 600 participants have taken part so far, including more than 400 citizens and 200 organisations.
• Activities were conducted both online and face-to-face, involving workshops, co-creation platforms, and structured qualitative exercises.
• Citizens and organisations co-developed:
• 52 CCAM use cases
• 15 prototype business models
• Causal impact diagrams across 8 domains: mobility, safety, health, economy, environment, land use, network efficiency, and equity
• Participants provided valuable insight on deployment timelines, barriers, and regional transport needs, especially in relation to rural and vulnerable populations.
Lessons learned:
• Rural and urban participants proposed different use cases based on local mobility challenges.
• There was greater openness to CCAM than anticipated, with less concern about public acceptance.
• Organisational understanding of CCAM varies widely, underlining the importance of accessible tools and materials.
This deliverable demonstrates that the co-creation process is enabling rich, diverse input from across Europe, ensuring the eventual assessment tools and policy recommendations from Move2CCAM are grounded in real-world needs.
